Information and Opportunity from the USGA
The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf has recently launched a new Web site at www.girlsgolfonline.org.
The JuniorLinks.com staff is thrilled to announce the launch of a monthly creative contest designed for juniors interested in the game of golf. Each month, JuniorLinks.com will feature a different creative contest and the winner will receive an engraved medal and a JuniorLinks.com hat, in addition to having their submission posted on the Web site. Further, each winner is eligible to win the Essay/Artwork of the Year award, which will be chosen in February 2008.
This month’s contest is an essay competition called “In Your Own Words.” It asks juniors to describe an exciting lesson they have learned from golf, using the following quote from Tiger Woods as inspiration: “No matter how good you get, you can always get better, and that’s the exciting part.” The deadline for all submissions is March 31, 2007. For more details about the contest, including the official rules and regulations and entry form, please go to www.juniorlinks.com.
