  IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE NCGA REGARDING YOUTH ON COURSE RANGE BALL DISCOUNTS:

img

To: Youth on Course Facility Operators
From: NCGA Foundation

Date: September 8, 2009
Re: Youth on Course Policy Change Effective SEPTEMBER 9, 2009

*****PLEASE POST FOR YOC PARTICIPANTS*****

Dear Course Operator and Youth on Course Participants,

The Youth on Course program has had a significant impact on local youth as more than 50,000 rounds of golf and 75,000 buckets of balls have been reimbursed this year. This has put a significant strain on our finances and we cannot continue to fund the program as it is currently structured. Effective immediately, the NCGA Foundation is suspending the range ball component of Youth on Course. We understand this decision is sudden but it is a necessary step to preserve the program and to allow us to continue to support grants, clinics, scholarships and future programs. We encourage facilities to inquire about opportunities to partner with the Foundation to support clinics for deserving youth in your local community. Final invoices for range balls must be submitted to the NCGA Foundation no later than September 18. Thank you for your continued participation in the NCGA Foundation’s Youth on Course program.

2009 YOUTH ON COURSE RULES AND REGULATIONS

1) Youth on Course participants may not play more than 1 (one) 18-hole round of golf or 2 (two) 9-hole rounds of golf in a given day.
2) Youth on Course rounds will not be reimbursed for organized play. i.e. golf team practices, tournaments, outings, etc.
3) Youth on Course participants must show a 2009 sticker on their NCGA membership card.
4) Any reimbursed round/bucket of balls without a legible GHIN number will not be reimbursed.
5) All reimbursement forms must be submitted to the NCGA Foundation at the close of each month.
6) Any Youth on Course participant found abusing the YOC privilege, i.e., giving their card to someone else or not showing proper etiquette, will lose the privilege. The course operator has the right to take this action and will notify the NCGA Foundation.

Thank you for your participation and support. Please call the NCGA Foundation at 831-625-4653 with any questions.
