IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE NCGA REGARDING YOUTH ON COURSE RANGE BALL DISCOUNTS:

To: Youth on Course Facility Operators
From: NCGA Foundation
Date: September 8, 2009
Re: Youth on Course Policy Change Effective SEPTEMBER 9, 2009
*****PLEASE POST FOR YOC PARTICIPANTS*****
Dear Course Operator and Youth on Course Participants,
The Youth on Course program has had a significant impact on local youth as more than 50,000 rounds of golf and 75,000 buckets of balls have been reimbursed this year. This has put a significant strain on our finances and we cannot continue to fund the program as it is currently structured. Effective immediately, the NCGA Foundation is suspending the range ball component of Youth on Course. We understand this decision is sudden but it is a necessary step to preserve the program and to allow us to continue to support grants, clinics, scholarships and future programs. We encourage facilities to inquire about opportunities to partner with the Foundation to support clinics for deserving youth in your local community. Final invoices for range balls must be submitted to the NCGA Foundation no later than September 18. Thank you for your continued participation in the NCGA Foundation’s Youth on Course program.
