The mission of the East Bay Golf Foundation and The First Tee of Contra Costa is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

LPGA – USGA Girls Golf was formed to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships and sample competition in a positive and supportive learning environment. The only national initiative of its kind just for girls, the program provides the opportunity to achieve success, progress in golf and establish a life-long interest in the game.
Girls work with an LPGA or PGA instructor to learn the basics in rules, etiquette, full swing, short game and putting.
